Annual Renewal
Professional registration must be renewed annually.
Annual renewal helps ensure that information published on the Register remains current and that registered professionals continue to meet the standards associated with registration.
Renewal Requirements
Professionals may be required to confirm:
- current contact details;
- current practice information;
- professional designation;
- employment or practice status;
- completion of required CPD;
- completion of required supervision;
- continued compliance with the IPR Code of Ethics & Professional Conduct;
- professional indemnity insurance where applicable;
- current statutory registration where applicable;
- any criminal convictions;
- any professional disciplinary proceedings;
- any restriction imposed by another professional body;
- any significant change affecting fitness to practise; and
- payment of the annual registration fee.
Failure to Renew
Where registration is not renewed by the required date, registration may become inactive.
An inactive professional must not represent themselves as currently registered with the IPR.
A reinstatement process may apply.
Registered professionals renew through Online Services. See also Maintaining Your Registration.
