Professional Standards and Ethical Practice
Assessment results and complementary methodologies have the potential to influence important personal, educational, organisational, and professional decisions. For this reason, every registered member of the Professional Board agrees to uphold the highest standards of integrity, confidentiality, fairness, professionalism, and ethical responsibility.
Members commit to working within their education, experience, competence, and defined scope of practice. They recognise the importance of informed consent, accurate interpretation, respectful communication, confidentiality, cultural awareness, and appropriate referral whenever another professional is better equipped to meet a client's needs.
The Board also promotes Continuing Professional Development to ensure that practitioners remain informed about advances in assessment methodologies, human development, wellbeing research, and professional best practice.
