Because professional education differs significantly across jurisdictions, courses are assessed according to their relevance to the applicable IPR professional registration category.

Recognition Does Not Mean Equivalence
Recognition of training for IPR registration purposes does not mean that the qualification is equivalent to a government-issued degree, legally regulated professional qualification or statutory healthcare qualification.
IPR recognition or approval does not replace statutory, governmental or academic accreditation where that accreditation is legally required. This information should be read with the requirements that apply in the relevant jurisdiction.
Professionals remain responsible for ensuring that their training permits them to undertake the work they perform within the countries and jurisdictions in which they practise.
