The Professional Board welcomes professionals who provide non-statutory counselling, emotional wellbeing, personal development, psychoeducation, and mental health support services within their professional scope of practice.
This includes Mental Health Practitioners, Mental Wellness Practitioners, Therapeutic Counsellors, Professional Counsellors where permitted within their jurisdiction, Integrative Counsellors, Christian Counsellors, Pastoral Counsellors, Family Counsellors, Relationship Counsellors, Bereavement Counsellors, Grief Counsellors, Crisis Support Practitioners, Emotional Wellbeing Practitioners, Wellness Practitioners, Psychoeducation Practitioners, Addiction Recovery Practitioners, Trauma Recovery Practitioners, Community Support Practitioners, and other helping professionals committed to supporting emotional wellbeing and human development.
The Board recognises professionals working in private practice, schools, churches, community organisations, corporate wellbeing programmes, rehabilitation services, educational environments, charities, and other settings where emotional support and wellbeing services are provided.
