Professional Standards and Ethical Practice
The Professional Board believes that exceptional coaching begins with professionalism. Every registered member agrees to uphold the principles of integrity, honesty, respect, confidentiality, professional competence, accountability, and client-centred practice. Members are expected to work within their scope of competence, recognise when referral to another professional is appropriate, maintain appropriate professional boundaries, and continually develop their knowledge through recognised Continuing Professional Development activities.
These standards not only protect clients but also strengthen the reputation and long-term sustainability of the coaching profession.
